Young Spurs star Victor Wembanyama had a less effective night, scoring only 12 points on 3-of-12 shooting. However, he made crucial contributions defensively.
Wembanyama finished the game with eight rebounds, three assists, and five blocks. One crucial block came against Jakob Poeltl with 44 seconds remaining.
He also secured a critical rebound after Brandon Ingram's potential game-tying three-point shot missed in the final seconds.
Momentum shifted in the fourth quarter when Luke Kornet's dunk gave the Spurs a 93-92 lead.
Additional contributions from Dylan Harper (15 points), Stephon Castle (13 points), and Julian Champagnie (10 points) maintained the lead until the final buzzer.
For the home team, Brandon Ingram recorded a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds.
Immanuel Quickley contributed 20 points, while Scottie Barnes added 15 points. This marks the Raptors' third consecutive home loss.
The game was tightly contested when both teams were tied 69-69 midway through the third quarter. The Raptors even went on a 21-9 run to end the period with the lead.
However, the Spurs rallied in the final quarter by capitalizing on eight consecutive missed shots by the home team.
The Raptors also lost rookie Collin Murray-Boyles in the third quarter to a left thumb injury.
Meanwhile, Jakob Poeltl returned from the bench after previously sitting out with lower back soreness.
With 10 consecutive wins, the Spurs now look confidently toward their next game when they visit the Brooklyn Nets on Friday local time.
The Raptors will try to stop their negative trend when they visit the Washington Wizards on Sunday.
