Persib Bandung enters the postponed BRI Super League week match with high confidence. The squad coached by Bojan Hodak will host the current league leaders, Borneo FC, at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GBLA) on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 7:00 PM Western Indonesia Time (WIB).
The result of this duel between two top-table teams could shift the competition landscape.
Persib midfielder Luciano Guaycochea emphasized that Maung Bandung hosts Borneo FC with crucial capital. The victory over Madura United in Super League week 14 is said to have delivered a positive psychological impact for the team.

As quoted from the club's official website on Tuesday, Luciano explained that win became a turning point after Persib followed up on their 2-3 loss to Lion City Sailors in the AFC Champions League (ACL) Two.
"First, we are very happy to get three points. This is a very important victory and we must be able to continue it," stated Luciano.
The Argentine midfielder performed exceptionally when Persib defeated Madura United, contributing one goal and one assist. However, Luciano stressed that the victory was the result of the team's hard work.
Persib's focus is now entirely on Borneo FC, the most consistent team in the league so far. Persib knows the threat posed by the Pesut Etam (Borneo FC), but their confidence has also increased.
Luciano hopes his team will once again show their best quality in front of the Bandung public.
"This team has so many good players. When opportunities arise, we will make the most of them by scoring goals," explained Luciano.
A packed schedule doesn't give Persib an excuse. Lucho (Luciano) asserted they remain ready to fight for the additional three points.
"Every 3-4 days, we play because we are also still competing in the AFC Champions League. This isn't easy, but in every match, we will do whatever it takes to secure 3 points," he concluded.
With strong mental capital, a positive performance trend, and the full support of the Bobotoh (loyal fans), Persib Bandung is ready to put up a fierce fight against the league leaders while keeping alive their hopes of competing for this season's championship title.
