Persib Bandung midfielder Beckham Putra emphasized the importance of maintaining the performance and positive momentum currently experienced by the Maung Bandung team in two prestigious competitions, the Super League and AFC Champions League (ACL) II.

“We have to maintain this rhythm because it's not easy. After going six matches without defeat, this is a good record for the team facing Dewa United,” Beckham stated on the Persib website, Thursday, November 13, 2025.

Persib is currently in a golden period, having recorded six consecutive wins in two different competitions. The team coached by Bojan Hodak successfully defeated Bangkok United, PSBS Biak, Selangor FC (twice), Persis Solo, and Bali United.

Aiming to Continue the Positive Streak

After the international break, Maung Bandung prepares to return to the field. Persib will face Dewa United at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GBLA), Bandung, Friday next week at 7:00 PM WIB.

Beckham acknowledged this match will be an important test because last season Persib failed to defeat the club nicknamed the Banten Warriors.

“In the first leg we drew and in the second leg we lost at home. That certainly becomes a note and extra motivation for us to repay them in the match on the 21st,” Beckham emphasized.

Persib currently occupies fourth place in the Super League standings with 19 points from nine matches, trailing leaders Borneo FC by 11 points who have played more games.

A victory over Dewa United will be an important momentum for Persib to close the gap and maintain their position at the top of the table.
