The French Football Federation (FFF) has entered a new chapter by unveiling the official updated logo for the national teams. This new visual identity was launched just days after Zinedine Zidane was officially appointed as head coach of Les Bleus, replacing Didier Deschamps.
The logo launch acts as a symbol of transformation: not only the technical shift brought by Zidane's arrival, but also an overhaul of the visual identity that will be adopted by all French national squads across every age category.
In its official statement, the FFF confirmed the new design retains the iconic Gallic Rooster (Le Coq Gaulois) as the core element. However, the logo has been reworked with a more modern, bold and dynamic style to remain relevant within the digital era.

This update aims to strengthen the French national team's visual consistency across all platforms, from digital media, promotional assets, right through to the official match kits worn by players.
Two golden stars remain positioned above the crest on the new logo. These stars represent France's two FIFA World Cup titles, won during the 1998 and 2018 tournaments.
The most prominent change is located on the lower portion of the logo. The 'FFF' lettering is now integrated with curved 'France' typography, delivering a far fresher appearance compared to the previous design which had been in use since 2018.
The FFF confirmed this new visual identity will be applied uniformly across all national teams, covering men's, women's and every youth age group squad.
This initiative also forms part of efforts to align the federation's brand identity across all digital platforms with the crest worn by players on the pitch.
The new logo will be rolled out on the federation's official media channels, national team equipment, and official merchandise lines ahead of France's scheduled international fixtures and tournaments over the coming years.
According to official plans, the new crest will make its first on-pitch appearance on the France Women's National Team kits at the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup.
This visual identity launch also formally marks the start of the new era for French football under Zinedine Zidane's leadership, who is tasked with returning Les Bleus to competition at the highest level of world football.
