This payment structure consists of a 55 million euro fixed base fee, plus an additional 5 million euros in performance-related bonuses.

While the final transfer documentation is still undergoing administrative finalisation processes, this agreement is expected to be fully completed by early next week.

Cucurella himself still has three years remaining on his contract with Chelsea, having signed a Contract Extension with the club last summer. However, the player's own desire to seek a new challenge has opened the door for his move to the Santiago Bernabéu.
