The race for the English Premier League 2025/2026 Season title has concluded. Arsenal have officially secured this season's Premier League crown after their closest rivals Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw against AFC Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium, Bournemouth, early Wednesday WIB.

Arsenal's Premier League triumph ends a 22-year long wait, with the club last lifting the trophy back in 2004. This marks Arsenal's 14th English top-flight league title, and their 4th since the modern Premier League era began.

Manchester City's draw confirmed that Arsenal can no longer be caught at the top of the league standings.

The single point gained did not shift City from 2nd place in the table. The side remains on 78 points from 37 matches, 4 points adrift of Arsenal. With only one fixture left in the season, the maximum possible points City can achieve can no longer overtake Arsenal's total.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth have kept their UEFA Champions League qualification hopes alive for next season, currently sitting 6th in the provisional table on 58 points from 37 games. They trail Liverpool by just 3 points.

Manchester City started the match aggressively right from kickoff. Pep Guardiola's side created an early threat through a strike from Jérémy Doku, which was successfully denied by Bournemouth goalkeeper Djordje Petrović.

City's pressure continued when Antoine Semenyo briefly found the back of Bournemouth's net, though the goal was immediately ruled out for offside by the match official.

Another opening fell to Abdukodir Khusanov, but the defender's shot ultimately failed to hit the target.

Despite facing sustained pressure throughout the first half, Bournemouth stole the lead first in the 38th minute. Eli Junior Kroupi scored for the home side, sending Bournemouth into the half time break with a 1-0 advantage.

Following the restart, City resumed full attacking initiative as they chased an equaliser. Nico O'Reilly saw his effort blocked once again by Petrović.

Bournemouth launched multiple dangerous counter attacks over the second half, including a strike from David Brooks that was saved by City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Brooks came within inches of doubling Bournemouth's lead just minutes later, only for his shot to strike the goal frame.

After relentless pressing across the full 90 minutes, Manchester City finally levelled the score in the 5th minute of stoppage time via Erling Haaland. Even so, this 1-1 result was not enough to preserve City's title challenge.

The full time whistle at Vitality Stadium marked the start of Arsenal's title celebrations. The Gunners have finally reclaimed the English Premier League crown after a wait spanning more than two decades.
