Spring always brings a distinct atmosphere to South Korea. Cool breezy air, streets lined with blooming flowers, and that iconic romantic vibe familiar from Korean dramas make this season the top favourite for International Travellers, including visitors coming from Indonesia.
Kim Jisun, Director of the Korea Tourism Organization Jakarta Office, stated that spring is the most in-demand period for Foreign Tourists to explore the beauty of the Land of Ginseng.
"Spring is one of the most loved seasons for international travellers including those from Indonesia. Spring in Korea comes with mild comfortable weather, stunning flower landscapes, and incredibly photogenic scenery," said Kim Jisun during the press meeting for the 2026 Korea Hybrid Travel Fair event held in Jakarta on Friday.

According to Kim Jisun, spring season in South Korea typically runs from March to May. Throughout this period, visitors can enjoy various Outdoor Activities that create a relaxed Travel Experience while allowing close immersion with local daily life.
Casual picnics at city parks, urban walking tours, and seasonal flower festivals are among the most sought-after experiences for travellers.
One of the most highly anticipated symbols of spring is the full bloom of Cherry Blossoms.
Across all cities in South Korea, these soft pink flowers create enchanting panoramic views while also being the most popular backdrop for photography.
Famous locations that are always crowded with visitors during spring season include Yeouido Park, the surrounding area of Namsan Seoul Tower, and the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival.
Aside from cherry blossoms, Jeju Island offers its own unique charm with vast, sprawling fields of bright golden canola flowers.
This signature spring landscape becomes one of the main attractions for tourists who wish to experience South Korea's natural atmosphere in a calm, highly photogenic setting.
Not only that, azalea flowers also begin blooming across city parks and mountainous regions.
The vivid bright colours covering walking paths and rolling hills bring out that warm gentle atmosphere that defines South Korea's spring season.
"And a lot of Indonesian Travellers intentionally choose spring as the best time to experience that classic romantic South Korean vibe," she added.
South Korea's popularity among Indonesian travellers has continued rising steadily over recent years.
Korean cultural phenomena ranging from television dramas, music, to local cuisine have all helped drive public interest to visit the country and experience its atmosphere first hand.
Kim Jisun revealed that enthusiasm from Indonesian tourists is currently at the highest level ever recorded in the entire history of tourism relations between the two nations.
"Based on official Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) data for 2025, the total number of Indonesian visitors arriving in South Korea reached 365,000. This marks the highest record ever achieved," she concluded.
