Competition intensified in the second round of The JGS Elite International Championship at Royale Jakarta Golf Club, Jakarta, Wednesday, 29 April 2026. This Junior International Golf Tournament featured 53 young golfers from various countries.

Sunny weather provided better opportunities compared to the first day. With more favorable course conditions, score changes occurred across several categories. However, several players maintained consistency and held their positions atop the leaderboard.

In the A Boys class, Jayawardana Dornan remained the provisional leader despite Kitpat Hamilton recording the best score of -3. Jayawardana closed the second round at +2, sufficient to maintain his overall lead.

In A Girls, Singapore's Passion Hsu delivered steady performances to become provisional leader. Over two rounds, she consistently recorded Even Par, demonstrating remarkable composure and consistency at the international junior level.

Indonesia had Abraraza Adriano Musyanif leading B Boys with a total score of 79.

Malaysian junior golfer Mavin Chua topped B Girls.

Chua acknowledged her first-round performance was stronger but vowed to improve further in subsequent rounds.

Overall, she felt satisfied, though some holes played longer than expected. She occasionally struggled with swing power control and tempo.

"(My best moment) came on a par-3 hole. I nearly made a hole-in-one—my ball stopped just about a foot from the cup," she revealed.

Domestic competition unfolded in C Boys, featuring exclusively Indonesian participants.

Arhata Putra Malik led with a two-round total of +13.

In C Girls, Qalesya Azkia Shanum topped the leaderboard at +24.

D Boys saw Arsenio Ibrahim maintain his lead position at +16.

Meanwhile in D Girls, Milanka Azwar delivered a solid +4 total after achieving Even Par in the second round.

Younger age categories proved equally compelling. Singapore's Caius Yap led E Boys at +3, while Indonesia's Charlotte Belva Sutrisna dominated E Girls with +7.

In F Boys, Singapore's sole newcomer Karl Lee concluded his round at +24, emerging as a young talent attracting significant attention.

With one competition day remaining and opportunities for leaderboard changes, this tournament continues serving as a crucial platform for developing golf's next generation.
