The announcement of the final Indonesia U-17 squad marks a pivotal moment ahead of the 2026 AFF U-17 Cup. This tournament isn't merely about regional rivalry—it's a proving ground for the next generation of Garuda Muda.
As reported by the official Instagram @timnasindonesia on Tuesday, coach Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto has called up 26 players for the 2026 AFF U-17 Cup.
This lineup reflects balanced integration across all positions, signaling the team's entry into final preparations.

Three goalkeepers were selected to guard the nets: Syahdan Caesar, Noah Leo Duvert, and Abdillah Ishak will serve as Garuda Muda's last line of defense, tasked with maintaining stability throughout the tournament.
The defense features the most players, with nine called-up defenders: Pandu Aryo, Putu Ekayana, Farik Rizqi, Shoyyo Himawan, Zidane Raditya, Farrel Luckyta, Made Arbi, Handri Dimas, and Peres Akwila. This depth offers tactical flexibility for diverse match scenarios.
Seven midfielders are primed to control gameplay tempo and link defensive and offensive lines.
Fardan Farras, Girly Andrade, Keanu Senjaya, Miraj Rizky, Chico Jericho, Al Faruqi Rangkayo, and Aldredo Naray are expected to deliver both creativity and balance.
Seven forwards will spearhead the attack: I Komang Semadi, Dava Yunna, Ridho, Sean Rahman Castot, Fardan Ary, Ichiro Akbar, and Mierza Firjatullah are geared for maximum firepower.
In Group A, Indonesia faces formidable opponents: Vietnam U-17, Malaysia U-17, and Timor-Leste U-17. Each match will test consistency from the outset.
The match schedule pits Indonesia against Timor-Leste (13/4), then Malaysia (16/4), before closing the group stage versus Vietnam (19/4). These fixtures will shape Garuda Muda's tournament trajectory.
History fuels their ambition: Indonesia aims to reclaim the Champion title won in 2018 and 2022—both editions hosted on home soil.
With the squad now confirmed, hopes rest on Garuda Muda to script a new chapter of triumph.
