PSV Eindhoven has secured its position as Champions of the Eredivisie 2025/2026 Season. The confirmation came after their closest rival, Feyenoord, failed to win in the 29th matchweek.
In a match held Sunday local time, Feyenoord could only manage a goalless Draw against FC Volendam. This result made the points gap with PSV Eindhoven mathematically insurmountable.
PSV now firmly tops the Standings with 71 points from 29 matches. They hold a massive 17-point lead over second-placed Feyenoord, with only five fixtures remaining until season's end.

This success extends PSV's illustrious record. The Eindhoven-based club has now collected 27 Dutch League titles throughout history. Moreover, this marks a championship hat-trick following their consecutive trophies in the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 seasons.
PSV's triumph is closely tied to head coach Peter Bosz. Since taking charge in July 2023, Bosz has immediately guided PSV to three consecutive league titles.
Meanwhile, the battle for UEFA Champions League spots remains fierce. Positions from second to tenth in the Standings are still contested by multiple teams fighting for second and third place.
Drama also unfolds at the bottom of the table. At least eight teams are still battling intensely to avoid the two relegation positions that will send clubs down at season's end.
