Maverick Vinales' decision to withdraw from the MotoGP United States at the Circuit of The Americas has become the main spotlight ahead of this Weekend's race. Amidst the intense competition of MotoGP, this choice is not merely tactical but a crucial step to maintain his physical condition which has not fully recovered.

The Red Bull KTM Tech3 rider nicknamed Top Gun experienced discomfort in his shoulder, requiring him to undergo further medical examination.

"I felt a different kind of pain when participating in the Brazilian GP. Then I underwent a CT-scan to get further treatment, and yesterday the medical results came out showing an issue in my hand," said Maverick Vinales as quoted from MotoGP on Saturday.

This Injury is not a new problem. Since experiencing shoulder issues in last season's German MotoGP, Vinales' performance has often been disrupted. In fact, he also withdrew from the Indonesian MotoGP due to similar complaints.

Given this situation, Vinales chose not to take risks. In a premier-class race like MotoGP, suboptimal physical condition can directly impact performance and safety on the track.

"I will be more conservative and don't know exactly when I can return because the surgery will be complex. Doctors estimate this will take about two weeks," Vinales stated.

"However, I don't want to overthink it and will return when I feel 100 percent ready to ride at my competitive level," he concluded.
