The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations power map has finally narrowed down to four big names. Senegal, Nigeria, Morocco, and Egypt secured their spots in the semifinals after navigating a series of high-tension, dramatic, and high-quality quarterfinal matches.
Egypt became the last team to complete the semifinalist list after eliminating the defending champions Ivory Coast with a 3-2 score.
Egypt's three goals were scored by Omar Marmoush, Rami Rabia, and Mohamed Salah. Ivory Coast managed to reduce the deficit through an own goal by Ahmed Fatouh and a goal by Guela Doue.

This victory ensured Egypt advanced to the semifinals, following the steps of Senegal, Nigeria, and hosts Morocco.

Based on the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Draw, the semifinals will pit Senegal vs Egypt and Nigeria vs Morocco. All matches will be played next midweek, on January 14th local time.
