PSSI has officially released the five nominees for the 2025 best goal award. This list not only celebrates beauty but also spectacular moments that left stadiums silent before erupting in cheers.
The winner of the most spectacular goal will be announced at the PSSI Awards.
Through an Instagram post, the federation showcased clips of five goal moments considered the most extraordinary of the year. Four of these goals were created during the 2024/2025 Liga 1 round, while the other was scored by Ole Romeny with the Indonesian National Team.

However, the biggest public spotlight falls on Rizky Ridho. The Persija Jakarta captain earned his nomination through a long-range strike against Arema FC. Rizky Ridho's goal wasn't just visually stunning but also rich in symbolic meaning about a defender daring to take risks.
Previously, that goal by the Persija Jakarta captain against Arema FC was nominated for the FIFA Puskas Awards 2025.
From Liga 1 to the National Team: The Stage for Spectacular Goals
This year's PSSI nominations reflect the broad spectrum of Indonesian Football, from young midfielders' creativity to rare moments of central defenders scoring spectacular goals.
The first nomination comes from Arkhan Fikri during Arema FC vs. PSS Sleman in February 2025. Arkhan displayed individual brilliance by deceiving opponents before finishing with a powerful strike.
The second nomination belongs to Dewa United star Egy Maulana Vikri. Despite losing to Malut United in April 2025, Egy scored with flamboyant flair after outwitting defenders and the goalkeeper.
Indonesian National Team striker Ole Romeny also made the best goal shortlist. Ole Romeny became the sole scorer when the Garuda squad lost 1-5 to Australia during 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.
Persija Jakarta dominates the list with two players among the most sensational goal candidates. The other name besides Rizky Ridho is Rayhan Hannan.
Rayhan Hannan's goal against Persebaya Surabaya showcased his agility and sharp instinct, dribbling and slotting the ball home from an acute angle.
A World-Recognized Goal, Even Without Victory
Rizky Ridho's goal even transcended the national stage. His strike against Arema FC was also a FIFA Puskas Award 2025 candidate, though voting results didn't crown it the best.
Despite not winning global honors, Rizky Ridho's nominations by both PSSI and FIFA Puskas confirm this moment's quality is recognized across borders.
Now, the public awaits who will be named owner of PSSI's 2025 best goal.
