Dubai's New Tourism Icon: Shahrukhz Building Complete with Shah Rukh Khan Statue

Amidst the shimmering desert, Dubai is preparing another new icon. This time, it's not just a skyscraper, but a living monument for an actor who has transcended his country's borders, Shah Rukh Khan. 

Shah Rukh Khan's name resonates from Mumbai to Manhattan, from small village cinemas to international film festivals. Now, his popularity is transforming into magnificent architecture designed to become the next tourist magnet in the United Arab Emirates.

As reported by the Times of India, Dubai-based developer, Danube Group, has launched the Shahrukhz by Danube construction project.

They guarantee the name 'Shahrukhz' will be used for the building. A bold decision, blending global pop culture with Dubai's futuristic architectural landscape.

A Building as Tall as Ambition, as Vast as the Star's Influence

Shahrukhz isn't an ordinary commercial high-rise because it is built to match the scale of the star whose name it bears.

The Shahrukhz building will stand 55 or 56 stories tall. Its area exceeds 1 million square feet. From a distance, its silhouette will grace the skyline of Sheikh Zayed Road, the city's artery that never sleeps.

Designed as a living space integrated with Dubai's modern rhythm, it will feature a helipad and over 40 amenities, including swimming pools, lounges, and valet service. Each floor reflects a fast-paced yet elegant metropolitan lifestyle.

Shah Rukh Khan's Welcome at the Entrance

If the building's name isn't attention-grabbing enough, its entrance will be a visual magnet for tourists. A life-sized statue of Shah Rukh Khan will adorn the building's entrance.

The statue's design uses Shah Rukh Khan's signature pose, arms wide open.

The pose is iconic, full of warmth, and instantly recognizable to his millions of fans, expected to become a must-visit site for tourists. 

Travelers can imagine taking viral selfies, or how the statue will become the backdrop for their Dubai travel stories.

Premium Location in the Heart of Dubai

Like many of the city's icons, Shahrukhz is situated on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai's main business artery. Shahrukhz is touted as a premium building catering not just to commerce but also to lifestyle.

For tourists, this location means easy access to famous destinations like the Museum of the Future, Dubai Mall, and the Jumeirah beach area. 

Shahrukhz is projected to become a new stop on the city's tourist map, especially for Bollywood film fans and urban explorers.

The scale of this project isn't just physical, but also financial. The plan is for completion in the second quarter of 2029. Construction is estimated to take about 3-4 years.

The gross selling value of the Shahrukhz Project is around $480 million USD or approximately Rp 8 trillion (exchange rate Rp 16,728). However, the unit prices will be affordable for new businesses. Commercial units cost around $460,000 USD or approximately Rp 7.6 billion.

This makes Shahrukhz not only a space for tourism and lifestyle, but also a business opportunity for a new generation of global entrepreneurs.
