The Indonesia U-22 squad suffered a crushing 0-3 defeat to Mali U-22 in a friendly match at Pakansari Stadium, Cibinong, Bogor, Saturday night, November 15, 2025. Garuda Muda failed to match the opponent's intensity, was fragile at the start of the match, and wasn't effective enough when creating chances.
Mali U-22 appeared ferocious from the first minute. After just five minutes, Selou Doucoure converted a corner kick with a header that the Indonesian defense couldn't block. This early goal immediately shook the organization of Garuda Muda's back line.
Indonesia responded with waves of pressure. Chances came from the feet of Dony Tri, Mauro Zijlstra, Rahmat Arjuna, Ivar Jenner, and Rafael Struick. However, the final execution remained blunt.
