Belitung, October 28, 2025 — The Black Rocks Golf Club Belitung area continues to expand its appeal as an integrated tourism destination. On Saturday (26/10), the soft opening of the Black Rocks Camping Ground took place at the Tentang Kopi Black Rocks Golf area, alongside the groundbreaking ceremony for the Food Plaza at Laskar Pelangi Beach.

The event was attended by Belitung Regent Djoni Alamsyah, Deputy Chair of the Belitung Legislative Council (DPRD), representatives from the Tourism Office, and several invited guests from business circles and tourism communities.

In his address, Belitung Regent Djoni Alamsyah expressed optimism about this tourism area development initiative.

“I aim to establish Belitung as a premier tourist destination. Everyone I bring to Belitung consistently remarks on its beauty. This proves our extraordinary potential – now it's about how we continually develop it,” stated Djoni.

Meanwhile, Director of Intra Golflink Resorts, Andy Nuryadmanto, emphasized that Black Rocks Golf's concept differs from other tourist areas.

“This beach camping concept is unique to Black Rocks. Golfers wanting accommodation near the course can now camp along the shoreline, enjoy the ocean, and savor offerings from Tentang Kopi Black Rocks Belitung,” Andy explained.

The camping ground and food plaza are expected to strengthen Belitung's tourism ecosystem, particularly in sports tourism, culinary, and sustainable nature tourism sectors. Beyond providing new options for tourists, these facilities create opportunities for local communities to engage in creative economic activities.

By blending sports, nature, and culinary experiences, the Black Rocks Golf Belitung area increasingly solidifies its position as a modern tourism destination anchored in Belitung Island's natural beauty and local character.
