Three foreign clubs competing in the 2026 President's Cup have arrived in Indonesia on schedule. DPMM FC (Brunei Darussalam) arrived on 22 July 2026, Tampines Rovers Singapore on 23 July 2026, and 2025 President's Cup defending champions Port FC (Thailand) arrived on 24 July 2026.

The entire arrival process proceeded smoothly through coordinated efforts between the tournament organising committee and the Directorate General of Immigration.

The 2026 Elite President's Cup Organising Committee extended its appreciation to the Directorate General of Immigration for the full support provided during the arrival and reception process for these three visiting clubs.

This support from immigration authorities forms part of cross-ministerial and inter-agency synergy to deliver a successful 2026 Elite President's Cup, which marks Indonesia's first international pre-season football tournament. Eight clubs from four countries will compete in the event.

Thanks to well-executed coordination, all visa processing, immigration clearance and official reception formalities for the three teams at Indonesia's entry points ran smoothly, efficiently and in full compliance with official procedures.

"We convey our highest appreciation to the Director General of Immigration at Indonesia's Ministry of Law and all staff under his command for their support, coordination and outstanding professional service throughout the arrival process for the three visiting teams from Thailand, Singapore and Brunei Darussalam," stated Tsamara Amany, Chair of the 2026 Elite President's Cup Tournament Organising Committee.

Tsamara noted that this seamless immigration experience provides immediate comfort for all visiting delegations from the moment they step foot in Indonesia, and demonstrates Indonesia's readiness to host world-class international football tournaments.

Responding to this recognition, Director General of Immigration Hendarsam Marantoko confirmed that his agency remains committed to delivering fast, professional and regulation-compliant immigration services.

"The guiding principle of 'Immigration For The People' is the foundation of our work to support the successful staging of all international events held in Indonesia," he added.

Local Indonesian clubs confirmed for the 2026 Elite President's Cup are Persib Bandung, Arema FC, Persija Jakarta, Persebaya Surabaya and PSMS Medan, selected based on their historical legacy, competitive achievements and domestic supporter appeal.

The tournament will run from 25 July to 6 August 2026 across host cities Bandung and Surabaya, with all eight participating teams split into two groups.

Group A fixtures will be hosted at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung, featuring Persib Bandung, Arema FC, DPMM FC and Tampines Rovers.

All Group B matches will take place at Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, Surabaya, consisting of Persebaya Surabaya, Persija Jakarta, PSMS Medan and Port FC.
