Indonesia Junior Golf Tournament Receives Official APGC Recognition.

Mandiri Ciputra Golfpreneur Junior World Championship 2026 has entered a new phase in its trajectory as one of the most prestigious junior Golf Tournaments in Asia. Alongside renewed headline sponsorship from Bank Mandiri, this event has for the first time received official recognition from the Asia-Pacific golf Confederation (APGC).

To be hosted at Damai Indah Golf PIK Course, Jakarta on 10–12 June 2026, this will mark the fourth consecutive year Bank Mandiri has supported the tournament as title sponsor. A total of 137 Junior Golfers representing 31 countries have already registered for the championship, which was first established in 1993.

Budiarsa Sastrawinata, Founder and Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Ciputra Golfpreneur Foundation (CGF), welcomed this progress positively. He noted that the growing presence of international competing athletes will bring constructive impacts for the development of Indonesian Young Golfers.

"I extend my gratitude to athletes across all nations that have shown interest in joining this tournament. I also thank Bank Mandiri as our title sponsor and every other supporting partner that has backed this championship's journey," stated Budiarsa in remarks quoted by Ministry of Sport.

Formal recognition from the APGC represents a historic milestone for the Mandiri Ciputra Golfpreneur Junior World Championship. This is the first time throughout the tournament's Running history that it has secured direct official accreditation from the Asia-Pacific regional golf governing body.

This development is projected to open up participation across all 47 APGC member states while raising the competitive standard at junior level. The collaboration between CGF and APGC also targets increased national representation and elevated competition benchmarks for young players taking part in the event.

With APGC endorsement, the Mandiri Ciputra Golfpreneur Junior World Championship further cements its position as one of the leading junior golf development platforms in the Asia-Pacific region, and a critical launchpad for emerging future talent within global golf.
