Young Indonesian rider Veda Ega Pratama once again demonstrated his competitiveness in the 2026 Moto3 World Championship. At the Italian Grand Prix round held on Sunday, 31 May 2026, Veda secured an 8th place finish after competing through an intensely tight race.

The Honda Team Asia rider started the race from 13th position on the grid. Despite not starting from the front row, Veda immediately pushed aggressively to close the gap with the leading pack of riders.

Consistent performance delivered throughout the full race distance allowed Veda to steadily climb the order. The Indonesian rider even briefly contested positions inside the top 6, going wheel-to-wheel against multiple rivals including David Munoz.

Fierce battling at the front forced Veda to work hard to maintain his race rhythm. Mid-race however, he temporarily dropped back to 16th position after losing momentum.

Despite this setback, Veda did not give up. He kept applying pressure and recovered positions lap by lap, until he finally broke back into the top 10.

This relentless effort paid off as he crossed the finish line in 8th place, earning valuable championship points for the 2026 Moto3 season.

With this result, Veda Ega Pratama remains 5th in the provisional Standings with a total of 66 points. This position keeps him in contention at the top of the table and keeps alive his chances to chase stronger results at future rounds.

Veda's competitive display at the Italian GP also confirms his positive progress this season, while lifting the hopes of Indonesian Motorcycle Racing fans for his career on the world stage.
