Liverpool midfielder Liverpool's Dominik Szoboszlai has expressed his belief that his team can stage a comeback against Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Quarter-Final.

The crucial match is scheduled to take place at Anfield on Wednesday, 15 April 2026, at 02.00 WIB. The Reds face a difficult task after losing 2-0 in the first leg held at the Parc des Princes.

Liverpool must secure a win by a margin of at least three goals to overturn the aggregate and ensure a ticket to the semifinal.

"Personally, I really believe because I know what we are capable of, I know what kind of players we have, I know what kind of mentality we have and we have shown it many times. Maybe not every time, but many times and that’s what we need tomorrow from the first minute of the game," said Szoboszlai, quoted from Liverpool's official website.

Szoboszlai emphasized that every element of the team must perform at their best if they want to eliminate defending champions PSG.

He also highlighted the importance of supporter backing at Anfield, which often makes the difference in big matches.

"Anfield will make a massive difference tomorrow. We have seen it many times this season, last season and in the past," said the Hungarian international.

Additionally, Szoboszlai touched on the difference in rest time between the two teams. Liverpool had to play a domestic match against Fulham in the Premier League before this duel, while PSG benefited from a longer recovery period after their match against Lens was postponed by the French league authorities.

Szoboszlai himself played the full 90 minutes as Liverpool secured a 2-0 win over Fulham, making the team's fitness condition a concern ahead of this important match.

"Of course, it’s different when they are resting between the two games, it gives them two days more to recover, to analyse the game, prepare for the game. After the game against PSG, we focused on Fulham and played two days ago and now back against Paris," said the 25-year-old player.

"I’m not here to say that the Premier League should help us with a day off in the Champions League, that’s not the case. We have to deal with it and we are professional enough to deal with it. That’s our job," he continued.

Throughout this season, Szoboszlai has performed consistently and become one of Liverpool's key players. He has recorded 12 goals and eight assists across various competitions, demonstrating his vital role in the Reds' midfield.
