Semen Padang FC had to acknowledge Persib Bandung's superiority after losing 0-2 in the 25th week of BRI Super League. The match held at GOR Haji Agus Salim Stadium on Sunday, April 5, 2026, dealt a blow to the home team still fighting to escape the relegation zone.

"I apologize to Semen Padang supporters for not being able to deliver three points," said Semen Padang FC coach Imran Nahumarury in Padang.

Both winning goals for Persib were scored by Ramon de Andrade Souza in the 32nd and 70th minutes. This result leaves Semen Padang FC stuck in 17th place in the temporary Standings, still in the relegation zone. Conversely, Persib solidified their top position with 61 points.

Early in the match, Semen Padang FC actually displayed aggressive play. Several opportunities from set pieces were created by Imran Nahumarury's squad, but they couldn't penetrate Persib's solid defense.

The disciplined defensive line of the visitors made it difficult for Semen Padang players, including Guillermo Fernandez Hierro, to create clear chances. Even several goalmouth scrambles were safely handled by Persib Goalkeeper Teja Paku Alam.

The momentum shifted in the 32nd minute when Persib launched a quick attack from the left flank. A precise cross from Berguinho was converted into a goal by Ramon de Andrade Souza, making it 0-1 for the visitors.

Near the end of the first half, Tom Haye nearly doubled Persib's lead, but his right-footed shot sailed over the crossbar.

Entering the second half, the game opened up further. Both teams exchanged attacks despite heavy Rain pouring down on the stadium. The intensity remained high throughout the match.

Persib sealed the victory with Ramon's second goal in the 70th minute. Persib coach Bojan Hodak then brought on Layvin Kurzawa during the remaining time to bolster the defense.

No additional goals were scored before the final whistle. Persib took home three crucial points, while Semen Padang FC must regroup to escape the pressure at the bottom of the standings.
