John Herdman's Debut, Indonesia Thrashed Saint Kitts and Nevis 4-0 in FIFA Series

The Indonesian National Team convincingly opened a new era. In the FIFA Series match at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium on Friday, March 27th night, the Garuda Squad thrashed Saint Kitts and Nevis with a resounding score of 4-0.
This victory also marked the positive debut of John Herdman as Indonesian National Team Coach.
Indonesia played aggressively from the early minutes. Jordi Amat opened up an opportunity in the 8th minute, but his header still went over.

In the 12th minute, it was Kevin Diks' turn to threaten the visitor's goal. Receiving a pass from Beckham Putra, Diks took a shot but it was not on target.
Indonesia's dominance finally produced a goal in the 15th minute. Receiving a measured through pass from Ole Romeny, Beckham Putra rounded goalkeeper Julani Archibald before scoring into Saint Kitts and Nevis' net. 1-0 for Indonesia.
Beckham Putra once again breached Archibald's goal in the 25th minute. The Persib Bandung midfielder finished Romeny's pass to double Indonesia's lead to 2-0.
Indonesia continued controlling the game, but no additional goals came before halftime.
In the second half, Indonesia extended their lead in the 53rd minute. Starting from Dony Tri Pamungkas' corner kick, a scramble ensued in front of the goal. Romeny pounced on the ball to make it 3-0 for Indonesia.
Amid Indonesia's dominance, Maarten Paes made a crucial save after Rizky Ridho's clearance nearly became an own goal.
Mauro Zijlstra capped Indonesia's goal fest in the 75th minute. Calmly converting Joey Pelupessy's through pass, he deceived Archibald for the fourth goal.
Yakob Sayuri managed to score in the 88th minute, but it was disallowed for offside.
The 4-0 score held until the final whistle. This win secured Indonesia's advancement to the FIFA Series final where they'll face Bulgaria at SUGBK on March 31st.
