Longer Animal Shows, Semarang Zoo Targets Tourist Surge During Eid Holiday

Amidst the homecoming flow and Long Holiday tradition, Semarang Zoo is preparing to become one of the magnets for Family Tourism with a series of updates welcoming the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H moment. The management of the Zoo is targeting 60,000 Tourist Visits during the Eid Holiday.

Director of PT Taman Satwa Semarang (Semarang Zoo) Bimo Wahyu Widodo explained various programs to welcome tourists during this Holiday season. One of them is by presenting a new program: an Animal Show with an updated concept.

According to him, the duration of the animal show will be longer with the addition of animal species involved in the attraction.

He hopes this program can become a New Attraction for visitors to the Zoo owned by the Semarang City Government.

"We hope this Animal Show will become an attraction for New Tourism. The program is also new, we made the duration longer, and we increased the number of animals," he said.

At ANTARA, amidst the lush pathways and arranged animal enclosures, the Tourism experience is no longer just about viewing from a distance. 

Visitors are also invited to get closer through the "petting Zoo" area, an interactive space allowing direct interaction with animals and creating more personal moments, especially for children.

This area is located near the main animal park, making it easy for visitors to access both.

Not only that, the Eid Holiday atmosphere is further enhanced by the continued operation of family-favorite rides. 

From splashes in the swimming pool to the children's bathing area, Semarang Zoo combines education and recreation in one family-friendly landscape.

During the Eid Holiday, Semarang Zoo will continue operating several existing rides, such as the swimming pool and children's bathing area.

With a combination of new attractions, animal interaction, and recreational facilities, Semarang Zoo not only serves as an entertaining destination but also provides a learning experience, a short escape from routine.  

Combo Tickets and Promos

Semarang Zoo management aims to make visits more practical by offering combo tickets with Semarang Traffic Park, which is located nearby.

With this option, tourists can enjoy two places at once in one trip.

For pricing, Semarang Zoo entrance is set at IDR 30,000 per person, while Semarang Traffic Park is IDR 10,000 per person.

The Eid Holiday atmosphere becomes even more festive with various attractive offers. Visitors purchasing tickets will receive a Free drink, plus a chance to win prizes by trying several rides.
