The 2025/2026 BRI Super League competition enters its 24th week with the spotlight focused on Surabaya. At Gelora Bung Tomo (GBT) Stadium, a true test awaits league leaders Persib Bandung as they visit the home of Persebaya Surabaya on Monday, March 2nd at 20:30 WIB.
This classic duel is one of the biggest matches this week. Persebaya Surabaya carries positive momentum into the match after winning 1-0 against PSM Makassar at GBT in the previous week.
Persebaya needs a win to get closer to a top-four position in the current standings.

However, Persib could be a stumbling block. The Bandung Leopards arrive in the Heroes City with a mission to extend their winning streak after sweeping all points from their last six matches.
Persib's consistency has made them the most stable team in the second half of the season.
Furthermore, Persib also needs three points to maintain their position at the top of the standings while putting pressure on their closest rivals.
For Persib, the visit to GBT is a mental and consistency test. For Persebaya, the match against Persib is an opportunity to revive their top-four hopes.
Heated Top of the Table Race
Not only in Surabaya, week 24 also features another elite clash. Persija Jakarta will host Borneo FC at JIS Stadium, Jakarta, on Tuesday, March 3rd at 20:30 WIB.
Both teams are aiming for victory to stay on the path to compete for the championship title at the end of the season.
Currently, Persija Jakarta is in second place in the provisional standings with 50 points from 23 matches, one point ahead of Borneo FC in third place, but having played only 22 matches.
That narrow margin makes the duel at JIS potentially capable of changing the competitive landscape in a single night.
Persija carries a mission of revenge after losing in Samarinda in the first round. Meanwhile, Borneo FC is ambitious to continue their positive trend after defeating Arema FC 3-1 last week.
With the top of the table race getting tighter and the pressure increasing, week 24 of the BRI Super League becomes a proving ground.
