Dewa United defeats Borneo, Persib consolidates top position.

Dewa United and Persib Bandung both secured crucial victories in the Super League continuation on Sunday, 22 February 2026. These results solidified Maung Bandung's comfortable lead at the top of the standings as the Indonesian Super League entered its 22nd matchweek.

Playing at Indomilk Arena Stadium, Tangerang, Dewa United defeated Borneo FC 2-1. Alex Martins scored both goals for the hosts, while Komang Teguh pulled one back for Borneo.

From the opening minutes, Borneo FC threatened through a shot by Mariano Peralta, but Dewa United Goalkeeper Sonny Stevens safely handled the attempt.

Dewa United took the lead in the 21st minute when Vico Duarte's pass was converted into a goal by Alex Martins, making it 1-0. Just four minutes later, the duo combined again. Martins scored his second goal in the 25th minute after capitalizing on another Duarte assist, extending the lead to 2-0.

Borneo responded, reducing the deficit in the 33rd minute through Komang Teguh's goal. The 2-1 scoreline held until halftime.

In the second half, Borneo pressed aggressively for an equalizer. Despite sustained pressure, Dewa United's disciplined defense held firm. The hosts also launched several dangerous counterattacks, though no further goals materialized before the final whistle.

This victory lifted Dewa United to 10th place in the Super League standings with 30 points from 22 matches. Meanwhile, Borneo FC remained third with 46 points from 21 games, trailing leaders Persib by four points.

In another match, Persib Bandung strengthened their top position after edging Persita 1-0 at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium on Sunday evening.

The three points gave Persib 50 points from 21 matches, Putting them three points clear of second-place Persija (47 points from 22 games).

The first half proceeded at a moderate pace under light Rain. Persib created an early chance through Adam Alis in the 12th minute. Persita responded via Rayco Rodriguez in the 16th minute, but Teja Paku Alam

The game opened up subsequently. Persib maintained defensive discipline, highlighted by Kakang Rudianto's interception of Ahmad Nur Hardianto's cross in the 26th minute. Persita threatened again through Hokky Caraka in the 34th minute, but Eliano Reijnders read the danger and cleared.

Just before halftime, Andrew Jung fired a low drive that Persita keeper Igor Rodrigues comfortably saved.

The deadlock broke in the 50th minute when Andrew Jung headed home from Luciano Guaycochea's corner, beating Rodrigues to make it 1-0 for Persib.

After the goal, Persib dominated until around the 70th minute. Despite creating further chances, no additional goals were scored. Persita failed to find an equalizer before full time.
