Liverpool secured their place in the next round of the FA Cup after convincingly defeating Brighton and Hove Albion 3-0 at Anfield on Sunday, February 15, 2026, early morning WIB. This victory means The Reds follow Manchester City and Chelsea, who had already secured their progression.

Playing in front of their home crowd, Liverpool dominated from the start. However, the deadlock wasn't broken until just before halftime. In the 42nd minute, Curtis Jones opened the scoring after capitalizing on a precise pass from Milos Kerkez. This goal was a crucial momentum boost, lifting the intensity of the home side's play.

Entering the second half, the Merseyside team grew even more aggressive. Dominik Szoboszlai doubled the score in the 56th minute following an assist from Mohamed Salah. Liverpool's midfield and forward line looked solid in breaking down Brighton's defense.

Salah then sealed the win with a goal from the penalty spot in the 68th minute. His calm execution confirmed Liverpool's 3-0 lead and secured the victory at Anfield.

In another match, Manchester City also advanced to the next round after overcoming Salford City's challenge 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium. City took the lead through an Alfie Dorrington own goal in the sixth minute before Marc Guehi secured the win in the 81st minute.

Newcastle United also secured their place in the next round after defeating Aston Villa 3-1. Despite falling behind early due to a Tammy Abraham goal in the 14th minute, The Magpies fought back with two goals from Sandro Tonali and an additional goal from Nick Woltemade.

Meanwhile, an upset occurred as Burnley were eliminated after losing 1-2 to Mansfield Town. Norwich City won 3-1 against West Bromwich Albion, West Ham United overcame Burton Albion 1-0, and Southampton defeated Leicester City 2-1.
