Immediately after the opening whistle, Germany seized initiative to dominate ball possession. The first clear goalscoring chance came as Undav made a driving run onto a clever through ball from Musiala. Unfortunately, his one-on-one strike was successfully denied by Finland's Goalkeeper and captain, Lukas Hradecky.
The deadlock was finally broken in the 34th minute. Working a well-drilled corner routine between Wirtz and Joshua Kimmich, the floated cross was converted with a powerful header by Undav into the top corner of the goal. Germany closed the first half holding a 1-0 lead.
Entering the second half, Die Mannschaft required just three minutes to double their advantage. Capitalising on a fatal defensive blunder from Finland's Ville Koski who lost possession inside the danger area, Undav laid off a perfectly weighted pass to an unmarked Wirtz inside the penalty box. With no defenders closing him down, Wirtz made it 2-0 in the 48th minute.
Germany's domination continued in the 57th minute as Undav registered his second goal of the night. Following an impressive penetrating wing run from Lennart Karl, Undav finished the chance with a low driven strike to extend Germany's lead to 3-0.
The home side's goal haul was completed by Musiala in the 63rd minute. An accurate delivery from Aleksandar Pavlovic inside the penalty box was dispatched with a precise finish into the top left corner of the goal. The 4-0 scoreline stood until full time. As their final warm-up fixture, Germany are scheduled to test themselves against United States the following week.
