Between the blue horizon of the Indian Ocean and the dry, undulating hills characteristic of Nusa Tenggara, the roar of engines signals an extraordinary experience. The 2026 Eid al-Fitr holiday at the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit isn't just a Tourist Journey, but a multisensory adventure, blending adrenaline with tropical landscapes.

The Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) utilized this year's Eid al-Fitr momentum to present various activities bringing visitors closer to the world of Motorsport without losing Mandalika's Unique Tourism touch.

"We offer a variety of exciting activity choices that the public and tourists can enjoy while visiting The Mandalika area, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara," said MGPA Director Priandi Satria in Central Lombok, on Wednesday.

In the morning, when the air is still cool and the sunlight isn't too harsh, the track transforms into an exploration space through the Lampaq at the Circuit program.

With a leisurely walk or bicycle ride, visitors can experience the world-class asphalt usually only touched by professional racers.

"This activity is available every Weekend from 06:00–09:00 WITA and 17:00–18:00 WITA, while on weekdays it can be opened with a minimum booking of 20 participants," he said.

But Mandalika doesn't stop at morning tranquility. As noon approaches, the experience changes drastically—becoming faster, noisier, and far more thrilling.

Taxi Ride offers the sensation of sitting in the passenger seat of a racing car speeding along. Meanwhile, the CBR 250 Experience gives the chance to control a sportbike on the same track.

For those seeking short yet intense fun, Drift Kart presents a playful challenge, blending technique and laughter into five minutes that feel too fleeting.

He said various automotive experiences and circuit tours are offered at special promotional prices. This provides visitors with the opportunity to directly feel the sensation of driving on a world-class racetrack.

Amidst the engine roars, Mandalika still reserves contemplative space.

One of the most captivating spots is Turn 10, where the sun slowly sets, casting orange hues onto the sea surface, creating a dramatic contrast between speed and serenity.

"Besides driving activities, visitors can also visit various other attractions and tourism facilities available in The Mandalika area," he said.

More than just a racing destination, The Mandalika area is evolving into an integrated Tourism Ecosystem, where Sports, nature, and recreation blend into one landscape.

The Mandalika Circuit will be closed to the public on March 21–22, 2026, during the Eid al-Fitr Holiday, and will resume normal operations starting March 23, 2026.

“The Eid al-Fitr holiday is a moment of togetherness with family and relatives. We invite the public to visit Mandalika, enjoy various activities at the circuit, and experience the complete tourism atmosphere in this area," he said.

Amidst efforts to develop Sport Tourism in Indonesia, Mandalika offers something more than just a spectacle, but an experience. A journey that allows anyone, at least for a moment, to become part of the track.

"Through these various exciting experience choices, the Mandalika Circuit continues to strive to present an inclusive and attractive automotive Tourist Destination for both Domestic Tourists and international visitors during the Eid al-Fitr holiday moment," he concluded.
